SinterFire® (SF) has introduced SPECIAL DUTY Ammunition (SD) to provide a lead-free hollow point projectile alternative to traditional ammunition. SD is designed to minimize the environmental hazards associated with the by-products of lead bullets. It is ideal for close quarter training as it eliminates the splash-back and ricochets that are typical of lead bulleted ammunition.
SF Special Duty Ammunition, Featuring our Hollow Point bullet, is designed specifically to provide the superior performance demanded by Law enforcement without over-penetration. Uniquely, shots that miss the intended target will fragment upon impact with an object harder than the bullet itself, thus reducing liability. These features make SF-SD the apparent choice for L.E. Duty and Home Defense applications.
